SOCIAL NETWORKING is defined as communicating through online communities of people such as but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube or any sort of blogging.
The Brighton District Minor Hockey Association understands the importance of SOCIAL NETWORKING and recognizes its use and place within the public area of interest. The Association is very aware of the potential for misuse and inappropriate unsupervised conduct which may be destructive to the welfare of the BDMHA, the future of its players and/or Officials.
The BDMHA holds the entire BDMHA community, including Executive Members, Coaches, Managers, Trainers, Players, Parents, Guardians, Support Staff, on/off ice Officials and any others who participate in any form of SOCIAL NETWORKING to the same standard as it would for all forms of media including television, radio and print.
Inappropriate conduct exhibited through any SOCIAL NETWORKING media will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action being taken against all involved by the BDMHA.
